FAQS

What happens after I sign up?

Once you complete your signup you will be contacted by your Home Manager. They will work with you to set up the date and time for your first appointment.

How soon after I sign up do I get my first service?

After signup, your Home Manager will contact you and you will be scheduled for the first appointment. The normal scheduling window is within 2 weeks or as your schedule allows.

How many times will you visit my home?

Our Whole Home Care offers four quarterly visits, or every three months, where home maintenance tasks are performed. Because some home maintenance tasks are time critical, like Sprinkler Weatherization, two additional visits will occur outside of the quarterly visits. Additionally, if you sign up for other add-on services you will receive visits as required.

Are parts and materials included?

We provide all material as part of your seasonal maintenance plan, except for lightbulbs and HVAC filters that are over 1″ in thickness. You can purchase filters greater than 1″ from us at retail prices, or you can provide your own and we will be happy to install them for you. For lightbulbs, we will gladly install any that you provide. Our goal is to offer flexible solutions that best meet your home maintenance needs.

What should I expect during my first appointment?

During your first appointment, your technician will review the location of your homes systems, identify previous maintenance processes, help you customize your service plan (as needed) and perform the seasonal routine maintenance possible to be completed during that visit. The appointment generally takes 2 hours depending on the size of your home.

What if I have a specific request?

Prior to our visit and during our introduction to start the visit, please let your Home Manager know any questions or specific areas you have questions about. You are more than welcome to shadow your Home Manager for parts or the entire visit to learn more about your home.

What should I do if I encounter a problem between my scheduled seasonal maintenance services?

At Upkeep Home Services, our primary focus is on preventative maintenance to ensure your home’s systems and appliances are running smoothly and efficiently. However, we understand that unexpected issues can arise between our scheduled maintenance visits. If you encounter a problem, here’s what you can do:

  2. Trusted Referrals: We have a network of trusted and skilled tradespeople specializing in various home repair services. Upon request, we can refer you to these professionals who can provide prompt and reliable repair services.
  3. Future Prevention: After the issue is resolved, we can work with you during our next scheduled maintenance visit to identify ways to prevent similar problems in the future, ensuring your home remains in top condition.
